Teen Camp

Our Sydney Teen Camp is a 3-day school holiday program specifically designed for High School students in Years 7–9, catering to those who want an active, fun and social program to participate in during their school break.

Unlike our traditional on-site day camps, the Teen Camp holiday program in Sydney is primarily off-site, visiting different venues and participating in a variety of activities throughout the three days.

In seasons when our regular 3-day Teen Camp is not in session, we continue the excitement through our full-week Teen Adventure option at our Manly Day Camp. Exclusively for campers in Years 7–9, this program bridges the gap between our traditional Day Camp and the off-site Teen Camp experience. Campers enjoy a daily morning excursion to local venues and attractions, returning to camp for lunch and joining our regular afternoon activity schedule. It’s the perfect way for Teens to stay connected, active, and social throughout every school holiday break.

What we do at Camp for Teens

While the Teen Camp program is structured, it is not regimented and offers great balance between utilising and developing leadership skills, and relaxed or ‘chill’ time to socialise with other like-minded Teens.

Transportation to each activity is provided, with Teens meeting at (and returning to) the same predetermined locations in North Sydney and Manly each day.

Campers will take lessons from the experts at some of Sydney’s most iconic beaches… It’s gnarly man!

Stand-up Paddle

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is a summer favourite with our Teen Campers, taking in the scenery and finding their feet alongside qualified instructors and their peers.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing

Putting on their hard hat and hardness, campers are able to overcome fears and get competitive scaling indoor or outdoor walls in a safe and supportive environment.

Cooking Master

Cooking Master

Our Teens often take a Cookery Master Class, preparing, creating and, most importantly, EATING up to 9 courses. Honing in on their chopping, peeling, wrapping and rolling kitchen skills, they produce edible art works… You’ll be asking them for advice before you know it!

Bush Walking

Making the most of the incredible National Parks and Bush Walks around Sydney, Teen Campers set off on treks of discovery. With only their backpacks, counsellors and peers for company, it really encourages campers to be ‘at one’ with their surroundings.

Amazing Race

Spanning various locations across the city, campers follow clues and complete tasks to win the Amazing Race and earn bragging rights (and usually a prize or two as well.

Community Workshops

Community Workshops

Camp Blue Teens have often engaged in interesting and informative hands-on programs with such community groups as Reverse Garbage; learning and creating using unique techniques and materials.

Snorkeling

Snorkeling

Splashing around some of Sydney’s most beautiful coves, hoping to find Nemo (or Dory!), and learning about the different aquatic life.
